Now, more than ever, Ukraine needs support in action, as the fight for justice and truth has not ended. The United States should continue working with its allies to strengthen Ukraine’s sovereignty. Emphasized Oleg Pynda, Director of the Ukrainian Community Center, during the march and rally marking the third anniversary of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine: "Stand With Ukraine: 3 Years of Resilience" in Seattle.
"We are living in dangerous and unprecedented times. For the past 11 years’ Ukrainian citizens are defending their country and democracy in the whole world. Today is 3rd year of the full-scale war as the world bears witness to Russian cruelty, blood thirst, and genocide toward Ukrainians. Tens of thousands of Ukrainian fighters gave up their lives to stop the russian unprovoked aggression. Thousands of innocent civilians lost their lives, wives lost their husbands, children lost their parents. Millions of Ukrainians became refugees all over the world," said Oleg Pynda.
Oleg Pynda expressed gratitude to the United States on behalf of the Ukrainian Community Center for providing shelter and resettlement to over 100,000 Ukrainian refugees, as well as to Governor Bob Ferguson for his continued support of 30,000 refugees who have found safety in the beautiful State of Washington.
However, as Oleg Pynda emphasized, the fight for justice and truth has not ended.
"Our message to the White House, President Donald Trump, senators, and congressmen is loud and clear – stop Putin, defend freedom and democracy, and set a precedent for all aggressors. Do not twist the facts – russia is the aggressor, not Ukraine," said Oleg Pynda.
"The fight for justice and truth continues. And Ukraine is on the forefront of the battle. God bless America! God bless Ukraine!" emphasized Oleg Pynda.
