Thanks to charitable contributions, the UCCWA provided approximately $30 thousand in aid to Ukraine

In less than a month, the Ukrainian Community Center of Washington State raised approximately $30 thousand to support Ukraine thanks to charitable contributions from concerned individuals and donors.

The financial aid was directed towards purchasing necessary equipment, vehicles, reconnaissance drones, and a portable air compressor for Ukrainian defenders. Additionally, from the donations received, $9K was allocated for humanitarian aid, and $3K was used to support bakeries located in Kyiv and Mykolaiv.

During a recent visit to Ukraine in April, Oleh Pynda, the Executive Director of the Ukrainian Community Center, delivered the purchased aid to the Ukrainian military and volunteers.

"Thanks to your tremendous support, in less than a month, the Ukrainian Community Center managed to gather the necessary help for Ukraine's defenders and volunteers amounting to about $30 thousand. I am immensely grateful to everyone who contributes to our fundraising, prays for our defenders, and brings Ukraine closer to victory. Each of your contributions instills hope and faith in the hearts of every Ukrainian and saves lives!" emphasized Oleh Pynda.

Oleh Pynda noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian Community Center has delivered hundreds of tourniquets, UAVs, clothing, medical equipment, hygiene products, medicines, and water purification filters to Ukrainian defenders.
