Adapting to a new country can sometimes be a complex and lengthy process that requires attention and effort. That's why at the Ukrainian Community Center we have support groups for immigrants where we discuss overcoming life challenges.
"One of the priorities of the Ukrainian Community Center is not only to provide a wide range of services to immigrants but also to do everything necessary to make the adaptation process in the new country easier. From my own experience, I understand how challenging and lengthy the adaptation process can be, therefore I advise everyone to visit our support groups for immigrants, where you can share your experience and receive support from others. I am confident that communication in a warm atmosphere and support from others is vital for our well-being," said Oleg Pynda, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Community Center.
He added that adapting to a new environment after moving to a new country due to war can be challenging, so the Ukrainian Center offers to go through this path together.
"Our groups play an important role in supporting the emotional well-being of participants. They create an opportunity to feel that you are not alone in your situation and help find understanding from others. Sharing useful experiences for overcoming life challenges is extremely important, as it is essential to take care of your emotional state," emphasized Oleh Kalabskyi, psychologist-consultant and support group expert.
